Assistant Pastor

Orlando is a humble servant who loves the Lord. Orlando was called to ministry in 2003 and ordained as an minister under King’s Apostle World Church Ministries. He and his wife, Yvette, have served in many roles within the church and community over the years. Orlando served as the Outreach Pastor at Great Commission Deliverance Ministries, Director for a Community Outreach Transition Program, has led prison ministries at Franklin County Jail. Orlando is a board member for a local Salvation Army Service Unit, board member for the Waynesboro Area Fellow of Churches Ministerium, and continues to connect other community outreach programs.

Orlando, originally from Brooklyn, New York, served in the United States Army and has been employed as an IT Professional for over 25 years. His wife, Yvette is originally from Frederick, Maryland. She has over 30 years in mortgage finance management, currently a Real Estate Agent and a Manager for a domestic violence organization. Their unity in marriage has allowed them to parent 4 amazing children and care for one grandchild.

Orlando and Yvette are extremely grateful for all that God has done and is yet doing in their lives. They enjoy spending time with family, vacationing, and worshiping the Lord through music and prayer. They faithfully seek the Lord’s will to help equip and encourage others to know all about God’s amazing love. Through it all, both Elder Orlando & Deacon Yvette honor and give God all the Glory. They are committed to following 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 as their motto, which is to “Rejoice always, prays without ceasing, and in everything give thanks”. They simply “Trust in the Lord with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding; Acknowledging Him always, as he directs their paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
